Challenging high school journey ends for 160 Woodbridge seniors

GREENWOOD – A challenging high school journey interrupted by a global pandemic concluded Friday night for 160 Woodbridge High School seniors.

The Blue Raider Class of 2023 was led academically by valedictorian Payton Keeler and salutatorian Iyanna Mims.

Payton will attend Newberry College in South Carolina. Iyanna is headed to Virginia State University.

The other student speaker was class president Karla Saldana-Hernandez, who also served as the student representative to the Woodbridge School District board of education.
