Cedar Lane Road to close for crossroad pipe replacement

SEAFORD – Cedar Lane in Seaford, between Sussex Pines and Wood Branch, will be closed starting on Sunday, Oct. 4 through Saturday, Oct. 10, the Delaware Department of Transportation announced on Tuesday.

Contractor Mumford and Miller will perform the roadwork, which will consist of the removal and replacement of a new crossroad pipe.

Detours: Motorists traveling southeast on Cedar Lane will be detoured onto Wood Branch Road to Sussex Pines Road back to Cedar Lane.

Motorists traveling northwest on Cedar Lane will be detoured onto Sussex Pines Road to Wood Branch Road northbound back to Cedar Lane and Park Ave/Truck Rt 9.
