Pedestrian safety focus of Georgetown code tweak

Georgetown has revised an ordinance geared to enhance the welfare of pedestrians.

On Monday, the mayor and Town Council voted 5-0 to approve a code amendment that spells out where and how individuals can safely cross streets and highways.
