CRISFIELD — The City of Crisfield is offering the public an opportunity to preserve unique pieces of the community’s history.

As part of an upcoming demolition project, architectural elements such as doors, windows, mantels, railings, and more are being salvaged from unsound structures located at 9 North First Street and 308, 321 and 332 West Chesapeake Avenue.

Individuals, preservation groups, and nonprofits interested in repurposing these historic materials are urged to get involved. A public input meeting will be held 5-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 26 at the Corbin Studio & Gallery, 4 East Main Street.

If you are interested in claiming materials, contact Dominique Parks at dparks@crisfieldcityhall.com or call 410-968-1333 ext. 17.
